March 31, 2001 - One $4 Million Winner - Mission, Texas
Tristan Tamez - Collected $2,240,449.60 on April 13, 2001
T-Rey Shoes & Food Store - Quick Pick - Cash Value Option Chosen -
(The TLC has to invest $2,240,449.60 to get a return of $4 million - However, the 6 of 6 winners portion of sales
was only $1,753,457. This means the TLC overpaid
the winner by $486,992.60 in order to make good
on the "advertised $4 million jackpot.")

March 28, 2001 - One $26 Million Winner - Gun Barrel City (Cedar Creek Lake)
Gary Ennis - Fast Food, 2209 W. Main - A Self Picked Ticket - CVO - Collected $14,493,887
To pay this winner $26 million, the TLC would have only had to invest $14,402,689.60 -
37.532% of sales is $14,465,655 - I have triple checked my numbers taken from the papers I received from the
TLC so I cannot explain why this winner was paid $14,493,887. They must have found a total sales error that I
am not aware of so I will have to make an Open Records request to find the error or reason. In the meantine,
rest assured that I am aware these numbers do not add up.

Notice - 55% of sales is not being paid to the winners -
for this roll, paying winners 55% of total sales is short by $2,053,513.
Had the winner taken the 25 year payout, they would have received more
than $85 million - it only required $48,786,362 to invest for a return of $85M -
They got an extra $2,427,961 but rightfully so. Congratulations!

Jan. 27, 2001 - One $23 Million Winner - Houston
Randall's, 12555 Westeimer (C/O-Self Pick Ticket)
RDK Revocable Trust, Paul C. Looney, Trustee, Collected $12,671,748 on March 6, 2001.
(The TLC's press release states Mr. Looney was paid $12,421,990 but this figure was an error.
The TLC paid this winner the exact amount required to get a return of the advertised jackpot
amount meaning he was paid $249,759 more than what was actually in the prize pool for his win.)

It will cost the TLC only $22,222,400 to make good on the advertised jackpot amount of $40 Million. But there's $22,637,040 in the pool which means the winner rightfully gets an extra $414,640! Congratulations!
